It all began in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico with one man and a dream.

Lupe grew up in Merida, a city that once was the economic center of Mexico. The wealth of the city brought people from all parts of the world to Merida and with them their cultures and foods. Lupe grew up learning the local recipes and cooking techniques from family members and by offering to help the street venders prepare their fare.  Lupe came to the U.S over 30 years ago and has been perfecting his recipes at family get togethers and bar-b-ques.  His passion is making great food and sharing it with others.
